What is Cyber Essentials?

Cyber Essentials (CE) is a cyber security certification scheme that offers a sound foundation of basic IT security controls that all types of organisation’s can implement and potentially build upon. Implementing these controls can significantly reduce an organisations vulnerability. 

What is the NCER?

The register is the first in Ireland to recognise what organisations have successfully become certified to the Cyber Essentials scheme. The purpose of the register is to highlight what organisations are doing to protect data for both themselves and their client and stakeholders.

How to join the Register?

To become a part of the NCER your organisation must become certified to Cyber Essentials Scheme. Once certified simply fill out the registration form, include your certification number and you will be added to the register.
